In resident evil 2, nightmare mode and expert mode are available only for the dreamcast and windows ports. although the rookie mode was featured in the gamecube and playstation versions, nightmare mode and expert mode are missing for unknown reasons.. This mode was pretty challenging, especially the a scenario. makes the zombies seem like the biggest threat of the game since they eat up so much ammo. i beat claire a then leon b on nightmare, and all you really get is a unique "congratulations" artwork with leon and claire on it, and the code for unlimited ammo posted next to it.. I was just wondering if there is a guide, or list somewhere that details all of the different difficulty settings for resident evil 2, across all the ports and region differences..
This is a let's play of re2 on the insanely difficult unpredictable setting of "nightmare mode" that's only available on the sega dreamcast and pc ports of the game.. Resident evil 2 running on dolphin emulator. game seems to run well, no graphical glitches mentioned, full speed all the time. there are some problems with music not playing, but that's rare actually.. Resident evil 2 is clearly a survival horror masterpiece, a classic game that is reminder of an era, which provides a great quality, difficult to find today. i don't understand the criticism for gamecube version: i would have paid this game even 100 euros, if i had the chance in 2003..
