Burnout Rate For Emts






Burnout in our career field has almost nothing to do with the physical aspect of the job. it has mostly to do with the average paramedic's initial expectations as to what the jib really is not being met.. At any rate, i’m depressed. and in one’s personal life—that will leave you singing the burnout blues. those psychologists i’ve interviewed on stress in ems personnel say that job burnout is caused by stress building on top of stress, without relief. causes of burnout many emt’s were happier before they got promoted to a. Ems is known to have a high burnout rate. i've seen stats saying the average career in ems only lasts about 5 years. a year or so ago i saw an article that ranked emt/paramedic as the 7 worst job (out of 250) in the us.. With a burnout rate averaging only a few years, there will be less experienced paramedics and emts to work with the elderly. but those within the industry share a different view on what causes burnout..
