Objective review - my opinion aside =p dynasty warriors empires has certainly kept the franchise going for people like me, but the series has fallen alot since. 8 was actually a step forwards for a change, and this came with surprising challenges in a new form.. While dynasty warriors 8 empires does not revolutionize the series nor cure all of its problems , it does address the biggest issue that plague the typical dw game: repetition by adding much needed strategy elements and allowing the player a lot more freedom in how to play the game.. In actual battles, dynasty warriors 8: empires adopts the xerox gameplay and mechanics of dynasty warriors 8. hence, aside from the addition of a few new weapons to slaughter with, you're not going to charge into battle and experience dynasty warriors 9..
